Organic, Natural, Bark for Your Walls

January 27th, 2008

If you’re looking for a unique, sustainable, and beautiful wall covering idea; then Caba Company has got you (or I suppose, your walls) covered. Caba Company offers BARKSKIN, an organic, hand-pounded bark material that can be applied to walls, used in furniture making, or even used for lampshades.

BARKSKIN comes in many natural and designer colors, is sturdy, and easy to apply. My favorite thing about this home product is the unique aspect though. Due to it’s material properties and the fact that it’s handmade each piece is one of a kind. Your home won’t look like anyone else’s.

BARKSKIN is not some bark wall covering for die-hard hippies either. Contemporary and classical design fans will love this paper as well. At the Caba Company website you can click on swatches, and see the entire rainbow of colors available. From bright orange to dark blue. From minty greens to natural hues - they really offer it all. A color, texture, and design for everyone. They even have a great woven pattern. These are perfect for any room of your home.

This is really beautiful. I especially love the checkerboard looks, particularly the warm browns in the photo with the TV. Great find, Jennifer, and great job on the site. It’s absolutely fab! :)

Thanks Lib, Libby, Liberty - can I call you the Libster? Is that too much. Thanks for visiting, I know you’re busy.

These are gorgeous. When I am able to build my green-house, this is going to be one option considered! Thanks!

Are you building a house? That’s pretty cool. I wouldn’t mind this paper either. Although, I also like clay on walls.

Not, yet, but one day, I will. I have the plans in my head. Off grid, solar/water, and totally self sufficient.

Ah, I need more jobs. lol.
