Natural sachets are one of those little touches that can make a big difference. You get to open your drawers to nicely scented clothes without the use of chemical fresheners. Plus, many are so darn pretty to look at nowadays. One of my favorite sachet sets is the Geranium Sachet set by Lotta Helleberg for Zanisa.

Not only are these natural handmade linen sachets lovely, but they’re functional as well. Filled with organic lavender, these will keep all your drawers fresh. The linen is washed and dyed and Helleberg uses real Geranium leaves to imprint a perfect silhouette on each. The set of three sachets includes one natural linen sachet with two contrasting brown linen sachets.

A DIY PET flower vase sounds a little boring right? Anyone can do that; chop off part of the bottle and there you go, a vase. However, what about this…

Inhabit’s Wall Flats are nothing new on the green design scene. In fact most folks have seen them and they were even voted Eco-friendly Product of the Year by Interior Design Magazine. What is new though is the Chrysalis design.

Chrysalis tiles, made with 100% molded bamboo paper pulp, one of the world’s most renewable resources are 100% biodegradable with no chemical fillers or additives, which makes Wall Flats a great alternative to toxic wallpaper or paint. Plus this design is so fresh it’ll look great in any room.

I’m so impressed with The Beargrass Cube - not only is it a unique and vivid piece for your home, but sustainable to boot.

The Beargrass Cube (seen on the left) has a center door panel made of eco-resin inlaid beargrass - the movement of the grass simulating the grain of the wood and shares the signature Cube Furniture (seen on the right) corner detailing and exposed veneer lines along the edges. You could use this as a great end table or in your bedroom or even as a cool piece in an office. The piece also would look great paired with the basic Cube.
David Sears Design was founded in 2006 and the company creates modern and eco-friendly furniture made with wood harvested from sustainably managed forests and non-toxic finishes. David Sears Design is also a member of the Sustainable Furnishings Council.
